Do We Really
Need Another Book on How to Lay Tile?
It all depends
on whether or not you can actually read these books, get a basic
understanding and then do the task. If you don't have enough
information or don't understand the process, then we do need another
book and you now have it in your possession.
I wrote this
book because I realized just how important it is to select the right
tile and then understand what you're getting yourself into. If I
had a dollar for every time I heard someone tell me how easy my job
is, I could probably retire.
This book
isn't called tile for dummies, easy tile or any idiot can do it tile
laying. It's called,” Simplified Floor Tile Setting for a reason
and it doesn't have anything to do with the word easy.
This book will
provide you with simple methods for laying floor tile, but a little
effort will still be required. If you haven't laid tile before, the
process could be extremely frustrating.
This book will
provide you with basic, intermediate and advanced tile setting
methods, to make your job a little easier, while eliminating some of
the frustration that you might encounter, along the way. However,
tile setting is far from easy, even though professionals make it
look easy.
My attempt to
simplify the process will provide you with plenty of pictures, tips
and even a few video links.
